How does science support the bible? The bible has made a number of scientific claims well before modern scientific research had revealed these claims to be true. In fact a number of times in the past science was contrary to some claims in the bible and it wasn't until later that further scientific research revealed that the bible was correct and the scientist of that day where wrong. Only God could have known and revealed these truths. We will show what the bible clams, what past scientist thought, and finally what we know to be true today. Before we do that it's important to remember that often times the bible doesn't use the same technical terms scientists uses today. Although the words differ the meaning is the same. When God inspired the bible He used terms that would be universally understood through all time. It would seem the simplicity of the bible once again reveals God's infinite wisdom in writing it.
Bible: The earth is a sphere (Isa. 40:22).
Science then: The earth is flat.

Science now: Blood is the source of life and health.

There are more examples, but I believe this shows sufficient evidence that God and only God would have known this well before modern science. Thus supporting the inspiration of the bible is from God and not man.
