Welcome to Soul Harvest What is the purpose of this web site? Let me briefly explain. Jesus said the harvest is great, that seems evident, but who are the laborers and why are they so few? Is it the few anointed evangelist or just pastors that are called to do this work? No! It is every one that calls upon the name of he Lord, every Christian, we are to be the laborers. Jesus commanded us to “go out into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” Mark 16:15. The laborers are few because we are disobeying this commandment. We must be careful when we blatantly disobey a commandment, remember what 1 John 2:3-4 says: Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him”, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. It is true that not all are called to be Billy Graham, but we all can and should share with those in our own area of influence, friends, relatives, co-workers, ect. Unfortunately in today's world of "to each his own" and tolerance means accepting everything, sharing about Christ has become offensive to many, even many who profess to be Christians. Yet, Jesus clearly taught one of the greatest of commandments is to love your neighbor as yourself. How can we say that the love of Christ is in us when our “neighbor” stands at the “edge of a cliff” and we do nothing to warn them? Would you stand by as a loved one was destroying their life from drugs and do or say nothing? Of course you wouldn't. You would immediately stop and do whatever you could to help them. Real love is manifested in speaking truth, not stood behind as an excuse to do nothing (1 John 3:18). If we aren't sharing our faith we either lack conviction in what we believe or we lack love for others.
This web site was designed to share what the bible says concerning salvation, how to witness biblically, why we are all called to witness, and any other questions you might have. There is much we would love to say, but this site was never intended to take the place of the ultimate source of truth, that is God’s word. Please we implore you no matter what you might think, or what you have heard, whether it be from us, a priest, pastor, or parent research this out for yourself in God’s word. Your soul depends on it.
2 Timothy 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
